The best way to get Traffic to your site is your content we are going explain this in depth. If you master this one strategy and avoid all the spam techniques being peddled you can’t go wrong.
There is no denying Google has the best search index that we know about in the history of the Internet. But Google is a lot more than just a search engine. Google can also do more than just send traffic to our websites.
Google is -
- The best indicator of the type of sites people like.
- A fantastic research tool.
- A reliable business partner
The majority of websites online are not successful most of them fail to meet the reasons why the webmaster originally decided to create them for. Many web masters get caught in the trap of concentrating on bringing traffic to their site via out side sources rather than focusing on what should be their main aim to create quality content that people value.
Many webmasters write content to make money rather than concentrating on writing content that informs or entertains. They miss the point what Google values the most and the traffic to their site suffers as a result.
“Google has the best search index for one reason they focused on providing the best possible content that matches what their searchers are looking for”
Many webmasters go wrong because they follow the false belief that all you need to do to get traffic from Google is create more in coming links and concentrate on boosting their search results rather than improving on their content.
“People will link to great content naturally without asking they will also bookmark sites they enjoy so they can return.”
This is the original reason Google ranked sites on their incoming links the more votes or inward links a web page had the more Google likelihood of Google rewarding it with traffic from their index.
When web masters found out this was one of the ways Google ranked sites they switched focus from creating content to getting links. Many webmasters also wrongly assumed this was all there was to getting traffic from Google.
Their are in fact millions of variables Google uses to rank websites and many of these rankings are performed by human beings not the software Google uses to power their index.
It does not matter how many links you build to a web page if it does not provide the content that matches the search query it will not outrank other sites that do. It may make a brief appearance at the top of the index but it is unlikely to stay there.
